Starboard customizes its retail offering by cruise line in order to offer an experience that will inspire and delight the individual cruise line’s guests. Cruise line passengers are engaged in unique experiences of discovery, entertainment and connection, often resulting in a celebratory purchase to remind them of their vacation. Product offerings range from luxury purchases such as fine jewelry, Swiss timepieces and leather accessories to affordable luxury in the form of beauty products, spirits, accessories or branded cruise apparel. Corporate Responsibility

HAND IN HAND FOR HAITI

Starboard Cruise Services and Onboard Media have joined forces as proud sponsors of Hand in Hand for Haiti, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. This foundation is a collective response to the humanitarian crisis in Haiti following the catastrophic earthquake that hit the country on January 12, 2010.

The project set out to build a sustainable school complex for the neediest children of the city of Saint Marc. After generating extraordinary support from the travel retail industry the world-class educational facility, Lycée Jean-Baptiste Pointe du Sable, opened its doors on October 3, 2011. The hurricane-proof, anti-seismic, sustainable school complex offers accessible education from pre-school to secondary school, in Saint-Marc, Haiti, an area of great need.

Starboard Cruise Services and Onboard Media have committed to help the foundation raise $550,000 in 2014 to continue to help build and operate the Lycée Jean-Baptiste Pointe du Sable in Saint-Marc.
